Overview

To use an old phrase, the galaxy is a big place, and the universe more so. That there are other dimensions and variants of the familiar galaxy as we know it is not just a hypothesis: it is a fact. One notable alternate universe is the one known simply as the "Mirror Universe," which is a dark reflection of the galaxy as we know it. Starfleet does not encourage such incursions into these other dimensions, but they happen regardless, either by accident or design.
